Bitmoji is a more modern take on online avatars; it's mainly used for Snapchat as a way to show people what you look like and for stickers in conversations using your own avatar, and some with your friends' avatars! They can be used in iMessage and other messaging apps, although there is less functionality outside of Snapchat. Bitmoji is a cute and funny way to communicate with people that lets you personalize how you want to be seen, which is why I made a video showing me making my own Bitmoji for my Snapchat. I tried to make it look like myself as much as possible! But you do have the option of making it creative with strange and unrealistic skin colors and funny outfits.
I agree, Bitmoji is a fun way to communicate with people. To some extent, it's similar to second life. On second life and Bitmoji, a user can make a avatar. Creating an avatar is just a fun way to be creative. Some users do a really good job on making their Bitmoji to look like them, it's almost creepy how alike they look. On the other hand, there's a lot of users who make their Bitmoji the complete opposite of how they look. Some users create a silly or wacky character.
