I think it would be really cool to have a streaming service that allows you to comment on the shows and movies you're watching as you're watching them. It would allow people to see comments from others in real time, similar to how the comment section works on live streaming on YouTube. The comments would be posted and updated in real time. This would be really fun and interactive so that it can heighten your enjoyment of whatever you're watching. It might also be helpful for the type of people that always have questions when watching things because there will be a community watching with you that can answer your questions.

  1. Hi Syeda, This is a great idea. It helps fans interact with the show and possibly add extra input to future shows.

  2. I love this idea! I've thought about this before as well. I'd love to talk to other people about shows and see others input and opinions about it. This is really cool because sometimes your friends haven't watched the same show and you don't have anyone to discuss it with but with this idea, you can instantly connect with others who have seen it.

  3. I agree this is a really cool idea. I've used a streaming service to watch Korean dramas and it actually allowed users to do what you mentioned. As soon as the show started you would be able to see the comments of all the people that were watching the show too and it allowed you to add comments too as you watch the show. It was really fun being able to see everyone's thoughts on the show and it would be awesome if something like this was available on Netflix.

  4. This is a good idea, I can certainly picture this kind of thing and how it will be liked by many of the viewers judging based on how people love the Insta or Youtube live sections. I can only imagine how the comment section would look like if there was one for yesterday's Game of Thrones episode, haha.

  5. A lot of platforms are trying this new idea, especially YouTube. They rolled out YouTube Premiere, where they let viewers watch and experience a new video go live together. The video gets a schedule upload, so everyone knows when the video goes lives and there is a constant live chat where viewers can interact with each other to comment on the new video. its a neat little feature, i just hope they find a way to better optimize the live chat on mobile- the live chat is more of a nuisance on mobile as it takes the whole screen.
